Step 4: Updating your password
The computer-assigned password is probably hard to remember, and you may want to change your account's password to a more familiar string. You can therefore change your assigned password to one of your own choice. To access the password change feature you will first have to log into your Biochemistry user account under Registered Users in the right panel on the main administration page. Use your e-mail address as the user ID and your password to gain access. Once you are logged in, additional menu items will appear in the left menu bar. Select the function Change my Password. You will be able to enter (and confirm) your desired password. A password strength indicator will classify the strength of your password and present a score. Only scores above 50 are acceptable to maintain security. Click Update Password to commit the new password.
